
DERMATOLOGIST
Dr Lachlan Byth completed his specialist training through the Australasian College of Dermatologists at major teaching hospitals including Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital. As part of his training, Dr Byth was selected to undertake a clinical fellowship at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital in Oxford, UK. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine with distinction from Griffith University, earning both the University Medal and the Dean’s Medallion. He also holds a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) from the University of NSW, awarded with excellence.
Dr Byth was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists’ Travelling Fellowship for achieving the highest score in the national fellowship examinations. He remains active in research, having published widely in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings on topics including inflammatory skin disease, paediatric dermatology, cutaneous lymphoma and artificial intelligence in dermatology.
Dr Byth is experienced in medical and surgical dermatology, and has a particular interest in skin cancer treatment and paediatric dermatology.
